Chip has been an instrumental substance use disorder treatment and social service leader in Cleveland for over 30 years. Chip was Executive Director of Y-Haven for 17 years. Y-Haven is a temporary housing and addiction treatment center in Cuyahoga County. Chip was a Peace Corps member in Korea. He was a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) surveyor for 12 years and CARF consultant, leading six Cleveland agencies to accreditation. As partly retired, Chip enjoys time with family, friends, fishing, and golfing.
